Michael’s background is in proprietary trading and market making. Michael has been trading since 1984, and therefore has a tremendous wealth of experience covering all market conditions. He has been responsible for the main equity proprietary trading books at Deutsche bank, Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse, making him a very familiar face in the market. Michael was a director and senior trader at Instinet Alpha, an outsourced trading vehicle based in Hong Kong. He has been living in Tokyo for a total of twelve years

Michael Hsia
Chief Operating Officer

Michael has been instrumental in the development of our CRM product. Through his extensive technical trading background, he brings a huge wealth of experience in the implementation and constant development of out trading models. Michael spent many years with the Deutsche Bank group on both buy and sell sides, with particular focus on risk management across the bank’s global franchise. Michael has traded convertibles, asset swaps, equity options, along-side index arbitrage. Michael has spent his working years between London, New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo. He is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.

Edward J Budge
Head of Marketing

Edward, an accomplished senior research salesperson with over twenty years experience with Citi and ING in the Asian equity markets, brings a fundamentals orientated approach to the business. He has worked closely with Investment Bank research and IR resources over his career, and has covered both a long only and long-short client base. This allows Edward to clearly interpret client needs and requirements and translate these though our CRM product into the successful delivery of our services. Edward has lived and worked in Europe, Japan and Singapore, regularly marketing in the Asian region.
